Gust generates a 7-day meal plan with breakfast, lunch, and dinner each day, built around your daily protein target, dietary preferences, and what's already in your pantry.
Where to find your plan
Home tab shows today's meals at a glance.
Meals tab shows the full week with a day selector.
Swap a meal
Don't like what's planned for Thursday lunch?
Tap the meal.
Tap Swap.
Pick a replacement from the suggestions, or browse alternatives.
The grocery list and macros recalculate automatically.
Skip a meal
Eating out, or not hungry?
Tap the meal.
Tap Skip.
The meal stays on the plan as a placeholder, but the grocery list drops the ingredients.
Log a meal
Mark a meal as cooked and eaten so your daily protein and calorie totals update:
Tap the meal.
Tap Log meal.
Adjust portion size if needed.
Tap Done.
If you have Apple Health enabled, the protein and calories also write to Health.
Generate a fresh plan
Plans regenerate weekly. To force a new plan mid-week:
Profile β Settings β Regenerate Plan (or pull-to-refresh on the Meals tab).
Note: regenerating throws out unfinished swaps for the current week.
Leftovers
When you cook a recipe with leftovers, Gust offers to slot the extra portions into upcoming meals. You can accept, decline, or pick a specific day.
