How do I delete my Gust account and data?

You can delete your Gust account directly from the app. Deletion removes your meal plans, pantry, favorites, history, and personal data from our servers.

Delete your account

  1. Open Gust.

  2. Tap the Profile tab.

  3. Tap the gear icon to open Settings.

  4. Scroll to Danger Zone and tap Delete Account.

  5. Confirm twice.

The deletion is immediate and irreversible.

What gets deleted

  • Your account profile (email, name, body stats, dietary preferences).

  • All meal plans, logged meals, favorites, ratings, and history.

  • Your pantry items and grocery lists.

  • Photos you uploaded for fridge or menu scans.

  • Your taste profile and personalization data.

What you need to do separately

Cancel your subscription before deleting. Deleting your Gust account does not cancel your Apple subscription. Follow "How do I cancel my Gust subscription?" first to stop future charges.

Backups and recovery

Once deletion finishes, we can't recover your account. If you want to come back later, you'd start fresh with a new account.

Privacy regulations (GDPR / CCPA)

If you're in a region with statutory deletion rights, the in-app delete satisfies them. We don't keep a backup copy.
