You can fine-tune what Gust recommends without retaking onboarding. The full taste profile is set once during onboarding, but the things that matter for recommendations — diet, allergens, ingredient exclusions, and favorites — are all editable.
Update what you eat
Profile → Edit Diet — adjust diets, allergens, and the protein aggressiveness dial.
Profile → Ingredient Exclusions — block specific ingredients.
Profile → Favorites — recipes you've favorited shape the Picks for you strip on Home and the Similar recipes strip in recipe details. Removing a favorite stops it from influencing future picks.
Reset your favorites
If your favorites no longer reflect your tastes:
Tap the Profile tab.
Tap Favorites.
Swipe left on any favorite to remove it.
Recommendations adjust within a session.
Full taste-profile reset
The 5-screen taste discovery you took during onboarding (food grid, quick picks, kitchen style) isn't currently retakable from inside the app. If you want a full reset, tap Profile → Settings → Contact Support and ask — we can reset it on the backend so the next time you open Gust you'll go through it fresh.
Why the system feels "stuck" sometimes
Recommendations weight your recent favorites more than your onboarding answers, so the fastest way to shift them is to:
Unfavorite recipes that don't reflect your current tastes.
Favorite a few recipes that do.
Open a few similar-strip cards on those recipes.
Gust learns from those signals on the next session.
